Meet the Referential Team: Taylor Messer

A warm welcome to one of Referential’s newest team members, Taylor Messer! Pictured to the right with her partner.
Since joining the Referential team Taylor has excelled in the customer advocacy sphere. She has already earned her Certified Customer Advocacy Professional I (CCAP I) credentials and is underway with training for the level II certification. Her past work and expertise in creating customer-centric experiences have transferred perfectly to her consultant role, in which she is helping clients create meaningful, personalized engagements for their customer advocates.
Passionate about always ‘putting her best foot forward’, she also is currently studying to take her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Once she achieves her PMP, she’s looking forward to holding mini trainings for the rest of the Referential team and delivering enhanced customer engagements.
TAYLOR AT ‘PILOT SCHOOL’ WITH HER PARTNER AND FRIENDS
One of Taylor’s biggest accomplishments and proudest moments was putting herself through college; gaining a BA from the prestigious Cal Poly SLO university. Throughout college she funded her degree through lots of fun jobs such as teaching gymnastics and spearheading the team’s events department, creating unforgettable dining experiences for local restaurants, and being a snowboarding instructor at Mammoth Mountain. After college, she worked as an onboarding specialist at Mindbody before joining Referential.
TAYLOR ROCK CLIMBING IN ZION, UT
Taylor was born and raised on the Central Coast of California and loves outdoor activities. She especially enjoys relaxing at the beach, gardening, and having time with friends, and for sports, you can find her rock climbing, snowboarding, and doing yoga. She lives with her partner, a best friend, and that best friend’s partner, enjoying “family dinners” together and sharing a passion for music and dancing. She also likes to travel, play the piano, sail, throw themed parties, and immerse herself in new experiences like learning to fly an airplane!
Taylor knows that company culture and goodness of fit when starting a new job are paramount to one’s success and her favorite part about Referential was just that: She feels so at home with her colleagues, supported, and well taken care of. Not only does the company set each and every individual up for success but the whole team stands behind one another to overcome any obstacles. Taylor is grateful to be working closely with her best friend from college, Emily J., and looks forward to a long career together at Referential.
