Prior to Referential, Emily worked at EY for eight years in audit services and financial due diligence consulting. Emily oversees all of the behind-the-scenes work at Referential, from client contracts to invoices to payroll. Emily is considered Referential’s Jill-of-all-trades.

Jen is a customer advocacy professional with over 12 years of experience in the field. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire and has 20+ years of overall B2B marketing experience. Jen stepped into the Principal role at Referential in 2021 and has continued to support clients while mentoring and developing a team of consultants, expanding partner relations, and onboarding new business. She strives to exceed client expectations and is a trusted advisor to many of Referential's valued customers. Jen was awarded the title of Top100 CMA Influencer & Strategist in 2022 and again in 2024.

Ryan’s experience branches from VC-backed tech startups to the Kubernetes open-source community to the global enterprise and a world-renowned advocacy-focused marketing agency. He is a BAMMIE finalist for overall advocate experience, has been published in academic texts and creative writing magazines, and has also played music on over 12 albums. Ryan was named a Top100 CMA Influencer & Strategist in 2024.

Helen is a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in leveraging her extensive experiences for the significant benefit of her clients. She has had major accomplishments at all levels, from Fortune 50 corporations to small businesses and across both domestic and global markets.
Educated in England with an engineering honors degree, she has held a variety of positions in technical, marketing and management disciplines in the UK and USA. She has founded two successful companies, and since 1994 expended her professional energies with Referential.

David was born in New York, but grew up and was educated in England, holding honors degrees in IT and Management. He joined HP out of university, rising to become Worldwide Manager for HP’s then-largest field-based entity, comprised of 3,000 consultants, with $1B annual revenues.
On leaving HP, David co-founded Referential, where in addition to his business and strategic responsibilities he headed the company’s asset creation team. He personally conducted interviews that resulted in the creation of over a thousand case studies, whitepapers and videos, as well as crafting winning submissions for some of the world's most prestigious professional awards.

During her former years in sales and then marketing, her number one priority was keeping our customers happy. Moving into advocacy was a natural transition.

Working from the UK, Lynn has been an Advocate Consultant with Referential for 20 years! With a background in graphic design, she also assists Referential’s creative team when needed. One of Lynn’s strongest suits is being able to talk to anyone, whether it be an executive or a sales rep or a technician. She thinks of herself as a matchmaker of the business world; working hard to find the best fitting advocates to speak to each prospect.
